Detroit Restaurant Brings Ireland to You

Dick O’ Dow’s Irish Public House has been a long time staple in the Birmingham restaurant and bar scene for many years.   Dick O’ Dow’s was designed and built in Ireland then shipped here piece by piece by owners Dick O’Connor, Peter Dow and Mitch Black.  To this day Dick O’ Dow’s is still committed to bringing its loyal customers and new customers an authentic Irish Pub Experience.

It all begins with the theme of the bar  “A Drink Comes Before A Story” and once you see the decor of the pub you will feel like you are actually in a pub in Ireland. All you will need is a pint of Guinness and a shot of whiskey to finish the experience.

The food menu is full of traditional Irish fare from the Irish Stew and Sheppard’s pie to the Bangers and Mash or the Corned Beef with Red Potatoes.  The menu also features many American Classics like their Angus beef hamburgers also available in veggie or turkey and large assortment of sandwiches.

You will be sure to enjoy the atmosphere and feeling you will get from being in Dick O’ Dow’s.  The lighting of the restaurant and the brick and stone work throughout the building to the bar itself and the fireplace in back,  Dick O’ Dow’s is the next best thing to actually going to Ireland if you don’t have the means to travel there.
